About us

We are knitters and crocheters, beginner to expert, sharing information and inspiration. Founded in 1983, we are Austin's oldest knitting group.

We meet on the first Saturday of every month from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Howson Branch Library meeting room, 2500 Exposition, Austin, Texas. Bring your project or just come see what we are doing. Map to Library

We hold monthly meetings, keep a reference library, maintain a website, publish a newsletter, and sponsor an annual workshop.

Most meetings include a program on technique, fibers or other topics followed by show and tell and information sharing. The depth of knowlege found in our group means that someone can probably answer your knitting questions.
